   Option A: Nintendo Switch 2 Console

   Open Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu. Select the account with the active membership, then tap your profile icon in the upper-right for Account Information. Select 'Cancel Your Subscription by Turning Off Automatic Renewal'.

   Option B: Nintendo Switch Console

   Launch Nintendo eShop and choose the purchasing account. Access Account Information via your profile icon. Highlight 'Nintendo Switch Online' on the left menu, then select 'Cancel Your Subscription by Turning Off Automatic Renewal'.

   Option C: Nintendo Account Website

   Visit accounts.nintendo.com/portal and sign in. Select 'Nintendo Switch Online', then click 'Cancel Your Pass by Turning Off Auto-Renewal' in the Active Plan section. Select 'Confirm' to finalize.

Things to know

• Auto-renewal must be disabled at least 48 hours before your membership expiration date.
• Once auto-renewal is turned off, it cannot be reactivated — you would need to purchase a new membership to regain access after expiration.
• Cloud save data backup becomes inaccessible when your membership expires.
• Family Group members lose Nintendo Switch Online access if the primary member's plan expires.
