How to cancel MyFitnessPal
Last reviewed About 2–5 minutes
You must cancel MyFitnessPal Premium using the same platform you originally paid on — the website, the Apple App Store, or Google Play. Premium features stay available through the end of your current paid period regardless of when you turn off auto-renewal.
Steps
Log in on myfitnesspal.com
Use the same email and password as your app.
Open Subscription Settings
Click Settings, then Subscription Settings.
Turn off Auto-Renewal
Set the Auto-Renewal toggle from On to Off to stop Premium from renewing at the end of your current billing cycle.
Things to know
- If you subscribed through the iOS app, cancel through your Apple ID subscriptions instead: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > MyFitnessPal > Cancel Subscription. MyFitnessPal can't access or cancel an Apple-billed subscription for you — only Apple can.
- If you subscribed through the Android app, cancel through Google Play instead: Play Store > profile icon > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > MyFitnessPal > Cancel Subscription.
- Canceling less than 24 hours before your renewal date may not stop that renewal from going through.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I cancel MyFitnessPal Premium from inside the app?
- No. You cancel through whichever platform you originally paid on — the website, Apple, or Google Play — not from inside the app itself.
- What if I cancel MyFitnessPal less than a day before renewal?
- Your subscription may still renew. MyFitnessPal recommends canceling with more than 24 hours' notice.
- Do I lose Premium features the moment I turn off auto-renewal?
- No. You keep Premium access through the end of your current paid subscription period.
