Steps

On iPhone or iPad (iOS/iPadOS 18.4+)
Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then tap iCloud+ under Active.
Cancel the subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription. A warning appears if your current data would no longer fit within the free tier's limit.
