How to cancel Everand

Where you cancel Everand depends on where the charge originates. A website signup is stopped from your Everand account. An Apple or Google Play signup is billed by them, and going through the Everand website's cancel flow won't touch that billing relationship at all — Apple or Google is the only place that actually stops it.

Either route leaves your access open through the rest of the period you already paid for. Unused unlocks don't carry past that point, so spend them if you can before access ends.

Steps

  1. Sign in on the Everand website

    Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

  2. Open Your Account

    Select 'Your account.'

  3. Cancel your subscription

    In the Subscription section, click 'Cancel' next to Cancel subscription, then select 'Cancel subscription' again on the following page.

  4. Confirm

    Follow the prompts to finish. You'll get an email confirming the cancellation went through.

Things to know

  • If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, cancel via Settings > your name > Subscriptions, find Everand or Scribd, then tap Cancel Subscription.
  • If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel via Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find Everand or Scribd, then tap Cancel subscription.
  • Unused unlocks expire when your subscription ends — spend them before your last day if you can.
  • If you're on a Legacy plan (from before the current Standard/Plus/Deluxe plans), canceling means it's gone for good, along with any bundled Scribd or Slideshare access. Pausing instead keeps everything intact.
  • You can pause instead of canceling for up to 12 weeks if you signed up on the Everand website — this preserves your unlocked books and your place in whatever you're reading.
