How to cancel Babbel

Babbel subscriptions renew automatically, but you can cancel up to the day before your renewal date. If you subscribed directly on babbel.com, cancellation happens on your Account Information page. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, you cancel through that app store instead.

Deleting the Babbel app or deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription by itself.

Steps

Log in on babbel.com
Go to babbel.com and sign in to your account.
Open your Account Information
Click the profile icon in the top-right corner, choose Profile and settings, then open Account Information.
Cancel auto-renewal
Pick the subscription and use the auto-renewal control to turn it off. A missing control there is Babbel's way of showing you that the plan is already set to end instead of renew.

Things to know

If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel via Play Store > profile icon > Payment and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Babbel > Cancel subscription.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, cancel via Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Babbel, then confirm the cancellation.
If you're not sure where you subscribed, check your Account Information page or your original invoice.
