How to cancel 1Password

1Password subscriptions are managed through your account at 1password.com. After canceling, your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period, then your account is frozen. Your vault data is preserved and you can reactivate at any time by restarting your subscription.
For family or team accounts, only the family organizer, team owner, or a member with Manage Billing permission can cancel the subscription.
Steps
Sign in to 1Password.com
Go to 1password.com and sign in to your account.
Open Billing
In the left sidebar, select 'Billing'.
Click Cancel subscription
Scroll down on the Billing page and click 'Cancel subscription'. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the cancellation.
Confirm cancellation
Confirm when prompted. Your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period, then the account is frozen.
Things to know
- Only the family organizer, team owner, or a member with Manage Billing permission can cancel a family or team account.
- After the billing period ends, your account is frozen but your vault data is preserved. You can reactivate by restarting your subscription.
- If you cannot cancel due to a payment issue, contact 1Password support for assistance.
- To fully remove your data, delete your account separately after canceling your subscription.
